I'm 90 pages into "A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Mistry. This book is so good. I wish I didn't have to read management cases or do decision modeling so I could read this book nonstop. I think it's a great insight into living in India. At least what I can tell from 90 pages. :) In other news, I'm TA'ing for "Invisible Global Marketing." Yesterday two students gave a presentation on India - while I have been spending so much time thinking about the beautiful sights and colors and food I will experience in India, I had forgotten about the reality of the cities. Slums, poverty, filth... It was good to be reminded of that - it's peaked my interest to research more.
